A network has been dismantled with the capacity to transport up to 6 tons of cocaine per year through the north of Spain and other European countries hidden in double-bottom vehicles. The illegal workshops where the cars were prepared were in Paris and Fuenlaba and thirteen people were arrested in different provinces and 28 vehicles were confiscated.

Investigators estimate that the dismantled framework could move up to six tons of cocaine per year in South America and, once in Spain, it was destined for Cantabria as well as Italy, Portugal, and Germany, according to the General Directorate of the Civil Guard.

For the transportation of the drug, the organization used vehicles with double bottoms (Covere) manufactured in two illegal workshops also discovered in Fuenlaba and Parm (Madrid), where these eleven cars, four cars, four cars, four cars, four cars, four cars, two trailers, and a moped were prepared or in the process of being created.

One of the trailers was set up to accommodate a ton of narcotic substances.

A canvas boat was also seized in the city of Laredo (Cantabria) and Over 600 pounds of cocaine and small amounts of ecstasy in different raids.

In Malaga, another man was arrested as a suspected crew member of a canvas boat used by the drug trafficking organization.
