Gipsy Kings y Rosario Flores inaugurarán el Parque Ferial de Fuenlabrada

The mayor of Fuenlabrada, Javier Ayala, has announced that the new Fuenlabrada Fair Park will open its doors on the last weekend of June, from the 27th to the 29th, with a grand inaugural program that will include performances by the legendary Gipsy Kings and Rosario Flores, as well as the Boombastic festival.

«We have prepared a top-notch party, with great artists and surprises,» said the socialist mayor, who revealed the inaugural program of this large urban park that «will act as the green lung of the city hosting family leisure activities, sports, and major events throughout the year, such as the Patron Saint Festivities.»

The grand auditorium of the new Fair Park, with a capacity of 20,000 spectators, will host the ‘Boombastic day edition Madrid’ festival on Friday the 27th, featuring half a dozen of the best national and international artists: Luck Ra, Hens, La Joaqui, Dj Michenlo, Ramma, Mar Lucas, and Fuenlabrada’s own Dj and VDj Aceyesx.

The turn of Rosario Flores and the Gipsy Kings will be on Saturday the 28th, a day when the Fair Park will host a big celebration to mark the opening with another concert by an artist yet to be revealed.

Additionally, during the weekend, there will be a Fuenli children’s area with activities, games, and workshops; a gastronomic area with food trucks; a large Ferris wheel; another one for children; a carousel; inflatables; and a grand Inter-Cultural Parade organized by the Coexistence Table (Sunday the 29th), among many other surprises.

This will inaugurate the new Fuenlabrada Fair Park, a large fairground and peri-urban park of about 200,000 square meters that will be located in the rural area of the La Pollina municipal center, with quick access from the M-50 and M-506 highways.

The new Fair Park features an urban park with over 5,000 plant species and children’s play areas; a paved area of over 10,000 square meters for recreational and sports use; and a terraced area for multiple uses where attractions will be located during the patron saint festivities.

Additionally, it will have a large outdoor auditorium for concerts with an area of 13,500 square meters and a capacity of 20,000 people.
