Más del 40% de los autobuses de Fuenlabrada ya son eléctricos

Nuevos autobuses eléctricos de la EMT de Fuenlabrada

The Municipal Transport Company of Fuenlabrada (EMTF) has unveiled the four electric buses that are being added to the regular vehicle fleet service.

The goal is for the fleet to be eco or zero emissions by the year 2030 and to progressively renew the fleet as their useful life ends.

The acquisition of the four new buses amounted to an investment of almost three million euros financed through European funds. Between 2023 and 2024, Fuenlabrada has acquired 11 of these vehicles.

The EMT of Fuenlabrada foresees that this year it will be possible to pay on buses with a card or mobile phone

Currently, the Municipal Transport Company of Fuenlabrada has 34 buses, of which 15 are electric, representing 44% of the fleet.

On the other hand, the operational diesel vehicles are of the latest technology and therefore have low emissions, as explained by the City Council.
