Ha aprobado una moción para impulsar el consumo de verduras y frutas frescas de temporada
El Ayuntamiento de Fuenlabrada promoverá menús escolares saludables y equilibrados en los centros educativos, donde se consuma productos frescos y de temporada, provenientes siempre que sea posible del Parque Agrario de Fuenlabrada. Además, se llevarán a cabo programas de promoción y divulgación sobre la importancia de consumir frutas y verduras frescas. La moción aprobada cuenta con el apoyo del PSOE, la oposición de Vox y Más Madrid, y la abstención del PP, alineándose con el Real Decreto de abril que establece normas para fomentar una alimentación saludable en los centros educativos.
El Ayuntamiento se compromete a seguir promocionando huertos para autoconsumo, la donación de vegetales a bancos de alimentos y otras iniciativas ciudadanas que busquen mejorar la salud y el bienestar para abordar la inseguridad alimentaria.
